my heart is set on NYU

<p>I am planning on applying ED to NYU and would like to know my chances of getting into the CAS. I want to double major in spanish and something else. I attend a competitive public high school in PA.</p>

Class Rank: We don't have it, but I would say im in top 10% </p>

<p>Ive taken all honors and this year Im taking AP Pysch AP Eng and AP/IB Spanish</p>

<p>Im planning on taking the Sat IIs in Oct
Spanish (I know Ill get atleast a 700), US Hist and Math I</p>

<p>EC's (I really didnt want to pursue academics until this year so all my ECs are really artsy)</p>

<p>-Dance Classes for 8 years (very dedicated 20+ hours a week/performed all over my city and also received many scholarships to college summer dance programs)
-Voice and Acting Lessons
-Participated in many equity musical productions
-Lead roles in high school musicals
-National Honors Society
-High choir that meets after school
-Pennsylvania Governors School for the Arts
-Vice President of school choir
-thespian society
-also I just spent this summer living with my exchange student friend in Ecuador improving my Spanish (what I want to major in)
-Part time job in a restaurant (10-15 hours a week)</p>

<p>So I guess I'm well rounded...I just hope my SATs wont hold me back. Is NYU a huge reach?</p>

<p>Try the ACT. I got a 2100 on the SAT, 35 on the ACT. Took classes for the SAT, took the ACT hung over. Miracles can happen.</p>
