hey all
Im a junior in HS and have been eyeing NYU since 8th grade. A great school in the greatest city on earth.(tired of these f'ing suburbs)

Anyways, I go to one of the better/best public schools on Long Island,NY and after looking at the school's "Naviance" website, I was happy to see that over the last 2 years the acceptance rate to NYU from my HS has been 80%.

Thats 97 people accepted out of 120 applicants.

So how much easier does it make it for me, with these stats from this high school with such a high NYU acceptance rate?

great activities for business. very nice. GPA is slightly lower than than average GPA accepted by Stern but only by a few meager decimal points. with a good essay topic, you definitely have 99.9%.

Your counselor would have a better idea than any of us as he would know the students in particular. With so many data points, I would say you have an excellent chance. However, I can tell you that some Naviance data is skewed with a lot of “special” candidates, for instance a strong performing arts high school getting a lot of kids in that department. But from what you have said, it looks good for you.

Hey how do you check on naviance for the acceptance rate between your school and colleges?
