On my transcript, a mark of 88% would appear as an A. (85% - 100% is an A)

When universities in the U.S. see this will they consider it a B?

What are the standard ranges that American universities go by to determine GPA?

If your transcript doesn’t report the percentages, how would the colleges know? Colleges usually have a sense of the rigor of your high school, and if your school thinks an 85% is sufficient for an A, the college will a) agree or b) think your school is inflating grades.

Standard is usually 90+ = A, 80+ = B, etc. with pluses and minuses as fits.

I’m pretty sure my transcript will report percentages.

Damn, I wish all grade ranges were standardized… smh.
