1) Unit 1 double - NOT Freeborn
2) Unit 2 double
3) Foothill double?
4) Clark Kerr
5) Unit 3 double?
6) I don't know

So basically I'm going to be doing EECS, but after Cal Day, I decided not to be in Foothill because of the quietness. I'm really hoping to change my personality in college, and I fear that getting stuck in Foothill is not going to help much. Plus Unit 1 (and thusly Unit 2 though I didn't visit) seemed good. Didn't get to visit Clark Kerr or Unit 3 so I wasn't able to judge.

Based on this can people help me by giving me your suggestions and opinions on this list?

Foothill blows and is one of the most expensive places. Avoid!

Though it is conveniently near the engineering and math parts of campus, so if you don't care too much about the marginal differences in amenities, foothill might be up your creek.

Go with 1 or 2, because southside is much more social. You don't want to live 4 years on Northside, too quiet. Don't stay there past your first year. Move to a house/apartmetn off-campus or look into a northside co-op. U1 and U@'s locations are much better than U3, which is too close to telegraph for a freshman.

Are all of foothill's rooms suites? The one's I've seen have more space per person in the rooms, and the common rooms I've seen are also comfortable.
