yea i got a higher cost for my single..$3900-something...but i think the $650 is included with that and single was like $3300s plus the $650 payment thing add to that...i think thats the rite charge.

@ jh, I believe that your bill is actually correct. It's hard to explain but I'll do my best. First, go to https://www-act.ucsd.edu/studentBilling/billing and click on "Details" next to Total: $x,xxx. That will show how much more you are paying this quarter for housing. If you triple that amount (one payment per quarter) and then add in the $650 (which you already paid) it should come out to $8,756.

You will end up paying $650 more this quarter than each of the other two quarters for housing.

so is the "details" page the one with the amount I have to pay every quarter for housing and nothing more? and yes, does this including dining dollars?

Oh yeah, when will we be required to pay for tuition and such? I know the due date is in october, but I dont knw if it will be charged through our student account. Thanks so much!!!

The bill (i.e. the price listed includes your housing and your dining bill so, I don't have it in front of me and can't see it because of the way I'm writing this post, but your triple room is about $8,750.00

so, that is $1,400 for dining dollars I believe it is(you actually get a deal financially with your dining dollars with housing where you get 3 for every 2 you buy or something like that)

and then the remainder (about 7,350) is housing

how your bill is calculated is you pay on third of the HOUSING every quarter and all you DINING first quarter so
7350/3=2450
2450+1400=3,950

So, my numbers may not be exactly right, I don't know like I said how much it is exactly total or how much they charge exactly for dining, but
MYSTERY SOLVED

and I remember this from last year it took me awhile to figure out what the hell they were doing

Oh, and I forgot to factor in the 650, I think that comes out of your total HOUSING costs not the dining part
