My "How long do these walks take?" thread

<p>When I made my schedule, all my classes wound up 15 minutes apart. Being the compulsive worrier that I am, I am now worried about being able to make the walks in fifteen minutes, especially if the class runs over a bit. So to put my mind at rest, would you mind telling me how long the following walks take:
Lincoln to Kimball
Kimball to Malott
Malott to Baker Lab
Upson to Baker Lab</p>

<p>Around 15 minutes maybe.</p>

<p>Lincoln to Kimball
Malott to Baker Lab
Upson to Baker Lab</p>

<p>No more than 10 minutes.</p>

<p>Don’t be afraid to hop on a bus (if you know where it goes and stops) since you can use your ID to get free rides on buses every day at any time for the whole year.</p>

<p>Thanks. I will definitely use the bus when I can, but I figure I should count on doing a lot of walking too.</p>

<p>The only one I can comment on is Baker –> Mallott which is definitely less than a 10 minute walk … probably around 5 minutes depending on how fast you walk.</p>

<p>Then select Walking, with the destination you want to walk to (just add Ithaca, NY after the name of the hall). It will give you both directions and the time it will take.</p>

<p>Kennedy to Baker is easy if you go in the back door of Baker. the same back door that I referenced in another thread. (check it out ahead of time if you’re not confident about it.)</p>

<p>It seems to assume you will walk at 3mph. If you walk briskly, you should be able to do 4mph, so you can cut a little time off your walk. Also you can adjust the start and end locations on the map if it puts them in odd places (like the wrong side of the building)</p>

<p>If you’re going from Morrison to Baker it’ll be easier to take the bus than walk but it’s about 15-17 minutes if you keep a decent speed.</p>
