The last time I took the ACT I got a 25 (E:21 M:25 R:29 S:24 Essay:08). That was February back in my Junior year, no prep.

Now I'm taking the October ACT (only 8 days left) I just started, like literally just stated yesterday, studying Barron's 36. If you hadn't guessed it by now, I'm aiming for a 36.

Do you think it is possible? Any advice? So far I have Barron's 36, Red Book, and 6 practice tests by Barron. Do I need anything else?

It’s definitely possible, but Idk how feasible it is (it’s going to take a ton of practice).

Then again, english and science on the ACT seem to be extremely easy if you work quickly and know the strategies. I scored 30 on science even though I hadn’t even looked at a past science section.

As for math and reading, those could take a lot of effort…

If you really wanted a 36, you would have been studying for at least the past several weeks. That being said, at this point it is more realistic to aim for a 27 or 28. Most people, especially only studying for a week, will only raise their score by two points.

Well I ran into some problems. I had been studying for the SAT for several months (scoring around 2300) but on the test day (September) test I got completely sick and would be shocked if I broke 1000…so here I am now.

its possible but very unlikely…if u want to raise your score to the MAX then review strategies from your barrons 36 book for 1 day, then take 1 barrons/real act guide practice test per day, and then review barrons 36’s strategies again the day before
