<p>CPA are you allowed to take home the donuts? While my cuzzo worked there was a new rule that she couldnt take home the leftover dounuts.</p>
<p>@romani: I verified, it is actually the law in Washington state that bussers/waiters have to be paid minimum wage before tips. I guess I just picked the right place to hold a restaurant job :D</p>
<p>Yeah, in some states tipped employees have the same minimum wage as non-tipped.</p>

<p>I always feel bad if someone gets the wrong thing and then throws it out, so I always try to intercept them</p>
<p>I’m sure the closing shift takes some of the leftovers as well, although there is probably a lot that gets thrown out. They should airdrop the leftover donuts and other unhealthy food over poor countries</p>
