I accidently submitted all of my commonapps in the wrong version. Crap

Wait, what do you mean the wrong version? As a last resort, you could always send in corrections to the schools…

deep breaths. Your life is not over. Yes, it’ll suck to sort out all of this, but it will be okay. First step-remind yourself, your life is not over. 2nd step-prepare an email to send to all of the colleges right away, detailing what happened. You can probably ask to 1) re-submit your real application online, or 2) submit your application on paper and ask for them to ignore the incomplete online version. Third step-call them the second they get out of winter break (January 2, most likely) to make sure they got your email and to ask exactly what is the best thing you should do to fix this. Then do what they say. Good luck

Have you paid? Anyway I think you could resubmit with the new version but put in the additional information to ignore version #ID blah blah blah.
The downside is that you have to pay twice.

u can’t resubmit the common app after you have submitted it. You will have to contact the schools seperatly to sort everything out : ( Call or e-mail the schools that you sent the apps to and explain the situation.

On the plus side you most likely will not have to pay an extra application fee.
