Well srcameron, I do not have a problem with Duffman's posting. I just happen to feel that from all his replies he has gotten, both in this thread and his other threads, that he had probably gotten enough feedback to know his "chances" (even though theres no way of actually predicting) at schools. Whatever, I dont particularly care if you disagree. As has been said, I was upset with Doogie for his rudeness and dismissive comments, that was the premise of most of my threads. I dont care if Duffman's thread gets bumped up. O and btw, there is no question...Bush did not legitimately win the election lol.

lol, true.

I am just in the same boat as GreenDayFan. I'm not bumping his thread. I don't have the majority of the posts. And this thread will get bumped anyways, so I don't see the point. Everyone of Duffman's threads, if you check, are bumped every day, asking "any other opinions"?

I have nothing wrong with doing this for a couple times, a couple threads. I dealt with it. I gave him advice. But when it got to the 6th thread he made on his chances, and I ask "why are you still making these", how exactly am I out of line? He's gotten his opinions.

Doogie's rudeness was what did it for me. Coming in threads and being incredibly rude to posters, who just ask simple questions, not being out-of-line, giving them links to other discussions that they already had so they can read back on previous comments made, don't point at us like we are at fault. If you would witness the majority of my posts here, you know i'm not an instigative type like Doogie who likes being rude to people.

Ben's chances for admission are the least of his problems. He should have posts asking what kind of aid kids are getting at the schools to which he is applying...kids with similar academic stats and in a similar financial situation (zero money). That would be truely constructive.

^ I know rog, I just don't feel that many people would be in the exact same situation I'm in, and even if they were, what forum would I ask that in, the financial aid one?

Yes you would post in the Financial Aid Forum

Alright, went ahead and did that. Hopefully someone will have a similar situation. Just for the heck of it, does anyone else have any fairly solid insight as to my college chances?

Thank You,

Ben
