My major does not have any articulated classes...

What if this is the case? My major is Philosophy and I am currently attending a CC in California, with hopes and dreams of transferring to Berkeley.

Here is what assist.org said:

ASSIST Report: AHC 09-10 UCB Articulation Agreement by Major

Does this mean I basically have to just get my IGETC done? Or what does this mean?

just do igetc and you’re set…confirm with the admissions office at uc Berkeley and your counselor first though

You can always take any courses that could possibly act like a substitute for UCB’s pre-reqs, then petition for credit later. Remember to keep the syllabus from any class you choose to do this for.

I suggest looking at other community colleges close to you.
For example, my community college has one course that articulates ( for the logic requirement) and another nearby college has another course that articulates…

CCCpremed: That would be tough considering every community college in a 150 mile radius from me doesnt have any classes that articulate for Philosophy…

What I’m guessing would be smart is to take as many Philosophy classes to show them Im serious about it because even though they may not be classes that articulate, the credits are UC transferable and I need at least 60 anyways!

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. I can’t imagine a college wouldn’t accept you because of the location of your college…
