my math teacher didnt pass over 60% of my class

I dont need this math class but i got a d+ and it dropped my gpa to a 3.29. it was the second half of a precal class. i did the first half when i didnt know what i wanted to study. i later chose a humanities major (philosophy) and just took the second half of this class so i could get credit for the first half, i took the first half at a weird time and apparently i dont get full credit for it without completing the sequence. is there anything i can do to show that i worked my ass off in that class? i studied at minimum 12 hours on some weeks and at most 30 hours on some others. this is so frustrating

eeeh… i think you’re going to have to retake the whole thing. just because your teacher failed 60% of the class is not a legit reason to excuse yourself. i know it sucks man but that’s how it is. sorry.

Go to the Dean of your school. Teachers are rarely allowed to fail that many students. It looks poorly on the school and on the teacher.

Where did you get this statistic from.
