<p>I'm an International Student. I know it's very weird that the school office needs so much time to make a mid-year report. The point is that my school sees exam as the most important thing, which means, homework and tests can NOT determine my mid-year grades. I need to wait until the end of March.</p>
<p>That's really a big problem since colleges make their decisions during late March to early April. I'm so scared and helpless right now.</p>

<p>You should really contact the colleges and explain your predicament. My mid year report grades were late and I just got them in now in mid late february, and my college counselor told me that colleges want to make a decision by the beginning of march since they send out decisions in march and april. </p>
<p>I strongly suggest you call the colleges and explain to them your situation. perhaps you can send them a 1st quarter grade instead so they can AT LEAST see something.</p>
