Well, I applied to a bunch of really really competitive schools (HYPSM, Columbia) and I typically get about a 3.96 GPA. The first semester of my senior year, my grades look like this:
Multivariable Calculus with Computers (taken at UC Berkeley) : B-
AP Literature and Composition : A
AP Physics C : A
AP Government : A
Math TA: A (non-academic)
Leadership : B (non-academic, I didnt even know we got grades for this B.S. program at my H.S.)
Do you think this will hurt my chances? Truthfully, I dont relaly care about HYPSM, i’m more worried about Columbia since thats the school I really want to go to. So, tell me what you guys think… thanks.
