My mom thinks I have no friends

So you may have inferred that I'm on here fairly often by the number of posts that I make, etc., and for you who have not, I am on here often. My mom sees me one here and recently has been like "How are your CC buddies doing?" (I despise the word "buddy" btw)

I was like "umm..........<_< good...." because I have real life friends. Has this happened to anyone else, because I think my mom underestimates even my own meager social life, and I'm afraid she'll mention it to other people and it will be awkward :O

Your first mistake is talking about CC offline, to anyone, ever.

My mom underestimates my social life too.
But she doesn’t know about CC.

have a book next to you, be able to turn the screen to off or sleep mode, say you’re reading :D

lol no I didn’t even do that. She made my account because she’s crazy about collegey stuff haha

^ that’s probably a good plan

She made your account? o.O
My mom would probably say I’m wasting my time on here.

Haha thanks :stuck_out_tongue: Works for me, anyways. [=

Woah, she made your account?

Maybe randomly mention that you’re not on CC but IMing friends or on Facebook or something.
My mother is the opposite; she thinks I spend too much time with my friends. And wants more family bonding time. Which sucks, because her new boyfriend is a neurotic squirrel.

I love neurotic squirrels. They’re so jittery.
lol my mom makes things so awkward with pervasiveness.

To be completely honest, she made my 0ld account awhile ago and then yeah, but she still knows I’m on here :b

I’m your friend CPA<3.

Your parents shouldn’t even know about CC lulz0rz.

I keep my online life clearly differentiated from my real life.

My mom is just constantly asking whom I am speaking to.

lol my parents know that i frequent a college forum and that i’m FB friends with a lot of CCers. they don’t really care/understand XD i bookmarked CC for my mom, but i doubt she looks at it. :stuck_out_tongue: plus my mom has a couple online friends from random asian games too. they know i have RL friends though o.O

^^^^ I will be sure to tell my mom about you. You should come to Denny’s some night :stuck_out_tongue:
^^^ They see all!!!11!one!!1
^^, ^ I concur :b.

first rule of CC: you don’t talk about CC.

^When was this rule created? I saw it in another one of Delilah’s threads.

I have no friends :*(

You (reading this) and me, we are two of the same.

We’re all your friend QwertyKey :] :b

Haha, see jittery, hyperactive, can’t-sit-still or pay attention people absolutely drive me up the wall. And her boyfriend is the definition of a squirrel. He seriously acts like one. One minute he’s over there, then he’s over here, he’s shaking his leg, he’s twitching, he’s fidgeting, he’s repeating the same question over and over.

I can’t tolerate being around him. My mom actually gives me alcohol when he’s around–it’s that bad, LOL

Omg, I’m like that.I can’t sit still because I have to move my position. But I can pay attention.

^shudder

And this is why I never want to have children. Aside from the fact that I plain just dislike kids, the idea that I may get some inattentive hyperactive squirrel-child hybrid is terrifying. I will probably try to shove him back inside or ask for a refund from the hospital.

It also probably doesn’t help that I view kids like dogs. They seriously remind me of dogs. I seem to be the only weirdo who makes that connection.

Aww.

My mom kind of does that too though. Even though it’s not really true.
