You really don't have to retake if you don't want to. I had a 700 on Math II and 710 on Biology-M, and I'm going to Dartmouth. I suppose you could argue that if I'd retaken and scored higher I might've been accepted to Princeton, but I really doubt it came down to that. Standardized test scores are a minor part of your application, and yours are already very good; I wouldn't worry about it.

If you're applying to Ivy League schools, retake both exams.

So; do you have your answer? (smile).

Haha yeah, I'll be retaking both exams =p

Here are the SAT Subject Test score percentiles, by the way.

Good luck.

And here is a more general statement on why not to worry about retaking an admission test, if you feel that is going to raise your score.

Okay heres an argument. Subject Tests. Don't. Matter.

Dartmouth doesn't even need you to submit them if you apply early.

In any case for colleges, 750 = 800. Trust me it's a waste of time and money. Use them instead to work on your essays.

Ask your mom to study with you and help you review in depth so either she learns biology and increases her wealth of knowledge or she backs off forcing you onto things. I guess you could dig up statistics of some Ivies and show her that 50% with so and so score still get in.
