She has gotten into Ramapo, Stockton, Manhanttan College, Montclair, William Paterson and Monmouth…waiting on Rowan and Tcnj (which is a reach) what is the best for Education major?
assuming you’re NJ residents, she sees those employed in the very field every school day. Why doesn’t she ask her teachers what they think?
they have said montclair and TCNJ…Montclair is whats called suitcase school…and TCNJ has gotten almost imposible to get into
Rider is excellent for education as well.
Honestly, I would wait for all the acceptances and aid packages, decide which options are comfortably affordable, and then re-visit your D’s top 2-3 affordable choices (perhaps during accepted student day) and then decide which is the best fit.
We live in Nj and my daughter has been teaching here for the last 4 years. All things being equal TCNJ has the best reputation for putting out teachers. During the interview process many of the people she met praised the job that TCNJ does with their Education Dept.
That being said once all results are in revisit the campuses and see what fits best.
Best of luck
William Paterson has a good program, so does Montclair and TCNJ. Those are my top 3
I have to say TCNJ…since that is where D is starting in the fall for education.
Good luck to your teacher to be!
thank you//TCNJ has gotten so hard to get into so we need to keep our options open…Richard Stockton gave her the most money so we need to revisit there!
Thanks for the input. had a feeling TCNJ would be said to be best just think its going to b a reach…
