<p>I would've bumped the old thread on it... but it seems to not be around anymore.</p>
<p>It's really not a change, other than the fact that students can get a slight discount when ordering through the school. The IT department is not providing any real support for the Macs, it is all done through Apple.</p>
<p>The biggest change in IT support is the reduction of service for non-IBM/Dell computers. Anyone considering a PC besides IBM or Dell should carefully look at the new three-tiered system of service.</p>
