<p>For the 12/08 SAT test i'm thinking mid 1800s or 1900s</p>

<p>High school only offers APs to juniors and seniors, no ib's
Jr. Year- ap chem, ap eng, ap stat, ap spanish 4, honors precal, honors us hist, honors sociology, honors physics</p>

<p>Sr. Year- ap bio, ap physics c, ap spanish 5, honors eng, ap calc bc, ap us gov, honors economics, bcis</p>

<p>Summers:
I attended MITE engineering camp at UT, CATALYST @ Cornell, and MITES at MIT. I did genomics research at the Broad institute of MIT and Harvard.</p>

<p>Socio-economics:
Hispanic, female, biomed eng or materials science eng, eco-d, first in family to go to college</p>

<p>Work experience:
2 years as an employee at the public library
one summer as a waitress</p>

<p>Clubs:
president of sr class
treasurer of SNHS
NHS
interact club
national hispanic institute counselor
debate</p>

<p>the crucial thing for stanford is to demonstrate great passion, do very well on your essays, your SAT is a bit low for stanford, but they’re willing to overlook it if you show depth of character, so just present yourself well</p>

<p>Though your SATs are low for the school to which you are applying, just like what hereicome09 has said, if you show depth of character in say in your essays and/or recommendations, you as competitive as any other Stanford-hopeful. <p>Your hooks should help you get SAT factor out of the way. You face a strong chance I think… isn’t there any way you can get SAT higher than 2000?</p>

<p>Your SAT scores and EC aren’t looking too hot for Stan.
I say Stan is a bit of a med/high reach for you.
But write great essays and who knows?</p>

<p>You have a shot, but you re in the same position as me. I don’t have great SAT scores, but if you did a good job on your essays, it’s possible. Good Luck!</p>

<p>Try to break 2000. A 2000 for your SAT, your grades, and your status will probably pull you into Stanford as long as you also have a great essay.</p>
