<p>i was in the I.B program for 3 years (freshman to junior) but dropped senior year. i took a pretty bad hit on my GPA in 4th quarter junior year but all my courses where either AP or I.B. my cumulative weighted GPA on my report card is 3.49 on FACTS its a 3.06, unweighted is a 2.6. this year im only taking 2 AP courses and 2 hon courses but so far im getting strait As(and plan on continuing that). got a 1220/1690 on sat (reading: 660 math:560 writing: 470... yeah i know :P) and a 28 on ACT( math:28 English:24 reading:27 science:31 writing:23) ive got lots of extra curricular with acting, choir, community service, and sports. and i reallyyyyy want to go to fsu</p>
<p>oh and dont know how much this affects it but i can write a really good application essay, even tho my writing scores arnt so hot, the whole timed part of the timed writing thing really gets me.</p>
<p>yourSAT scores need some bumping up…why drop the IB course? that looks kind of bad…BU is probably more attainable than FSU…good luck though!</p>
<p>Yeah I took sat begining of my junior year without studying, I’m taking them again in 2 weeks and I’ve studied a lot for them this time. I didn’t have enough time for I.B having 4 hours minimum homework(I’m not exaggerated) everynight plus work, and acting I was fried. I figured if I dropped but still took a.p and honors it wouldn’t look that bad.</p>
