Would Playing Guitar for 4.5 years help?
My Tae Kwon Do master was an Olympic Champion in 1988… would that help too?
HELP ME!!!

most likely you will get into Santa Cruz, Riverside, and Merced...

MAYBE Irvine...

MAYBE MAYBE Davis...

MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE Santa Barbara...

BErk, LA, SD are kinda out of sight though...

but don't give up! I got a 3.0 and got into Berkeley... so miracles DO happen. Well, sorta.

beethovenite: hooks? what do you think got you accepted into cal

Hmmm...

My resume and personal accomplishments I think definitely helped... that and possibly the high school I went to... apparently Berkeley likes my HS.

One of my best friend also had 3.0 UC GPA and something like 2.8 regular, but got into UCLA and Dartmouth... but he had all perfect SAT scores.

This is basically what I think about college admissions process... the reason why they ask for all these numbers and scores is because they want to find out what you're worth. If you are able to somehow prove to the admissions people that you belong in that league, then they're going to accept you. You either need a well balanced strong numbers or you can accel in one thing and make up for the lower numbers in the other field. Depending on what school you apply to, they also look for certain things, and also what major you chose...

but my point was that I had a low GPA... and that isn't everything they look for. :)

thank god...
