My parents might be moving

<p>How will this affect in state tuition or state grants? My dad was transferred earlier this summer, but he did not have to move. He works from home. But apparently, they did decided that they will move after I graduate. They want to move, but want me to be able to finish my senior year. </p>

<p>Should I be considering state universities in the state they are moving to?</p>

<p>Check the residency rules for both states. In California, for example, you remain a resident for college purposes if you attended and graduated from high school there. It might be different somewhere else.</p>
