And I put some really embarrassing stuff in them. >_> My mom thinks I'm an extremely confident person, buuttt...I kinda wrote about my lack of confidence in them...though humorously, but still...Also, some things, when translated into another language, loses its humor D:
So I'm not letting her read it, and she's extremely mad >-> She thinks I look down on her writing skills, because she can't speak English well...BUT IT'S NOT THATT! I just don't want her to see the akwardnessss..Gaahh what to dooo

It seems that this is a simple matter of misunderstanding: you’re embarassed by what you wrote so you don’t want to show her, and she’s interpreting your reluctance as you belittling her English skills… easy, just tell her the truth in plain words: “dear mom, I thought really hard and decided to write about my lack of confidence in my college essay. I don’t know if I’m going to keep it or not, and you really can’t read it because, honestly, I’m trying to write about something that I’m embarassed about and, well, it’s kind of private :o. It’s like your daughter’s private diary, you don’t want to be reading it…”

Get your best friend to give you a copy of hers and give IT to your mom and tell her it’s yours.

lol.

Just kidding. Especially if her essay says things that would REALLY get you in trouble.
