My Path to Chances...Need Advice

New to the forums here. Anyways, I'm a Junior at a Virginia high school and am dissappointed of myself to the point where I ask myself, "How did this happen?" I have slacked off my Freshman year and in my Sophmore year I had a family issue. All my teachers and friends are surprised when they hear of how low my GPA is. It doesn't suit what My real talent. Anyways this is what I got:

Current GPA: 2.43
Current Credits: 16
Credits by End of Year:23-25 (depending on what I do)
Curennt Classes Completed: All Honors (2 AP and all Honors)
Classes Taking this Year: All Honors and 1 AP
SAT: Have not taken yet
Exam Scores: A's and B's ( Really good at Exams :))

This year I'm aiming on getting a 3.2, though my counselor calculated my Cumulative GPA and the highest I can get is a 3. If I get all A's and one B+, I will have a 2.94 I have become really angry with myself and how I slacked off. I'm supposed to be a A student. I will be majoring in Physics, Calculus, Astrophysics, Aeronautical Engineering, and importantly Astronomy. I'm a really strong Math student, usually best in class and I love Science.

Anyways, here are the colleges/universities I'm aiming for so far:

Boston University (accepts 22% of 3.0-3.2 GPA)
Boston College
George Mason (sister is attending)

So what are my chances? if it's low what can I do to raise my GPA? Can I retake classes from Sophmore year or take AP classes in the Summer of 2009?What can I do to get at least a 3.2-3.4?

friendly bump
