<p>Does Pittsburgh alert students of their admissions decision on its Student Center that is used to check application status? Or is it only there to tell us if they received everything they need?</p>
<p>Any clue on when I should hear back? Submitted app 10/3 - sent in transcript/letters on 10/22 and everything was received.</p>

<p>They only send the admissions info by snail mail. You should hear pretty soon.</p>

<p>I looked at the website where I actually applied, but it just says my application has been submitted, nothing about all the other stuff.</p>
<p>^ once you submit your application, you'll get an email from Pittsburgh, giving you your account number and password to my.pitt.edu</p>
<p>it'll say "application is complete" if you have submitted everything. if you haven't, it'll show you a list of things to turn in, but it doesn't tell you what you have already turned in.</p>

<p>how long does it usually take for that email to come? I submitted my application online on Friday and I received an email confirming payment, but no account number. Other applications I have submitted were very fast about sending me that kind of info. Just want to make sure I stay on top of it since I send me ACT scores just recently as this school wasn't originally on my list.</p>
<p>um, like 3-4 days i think? i called pittsburgh the day after i sent in my application and the lady who answered was really nice and she just gave me my account number/password over the phone.</p>
