Hm... I just did a quick check on the ABET accreditation that your school has and I only find this:

This may be a problem, as many employers ultimately look to see whether or not your school is ABET accredited. This is for all majors within engineering, computer science, etc. I would go on this website: ABET and check out schools in your area for better options. Just choose "Civil" as your major and "Southeast" as your region and you'll get all the results for schools that are accredited with those specific preferences.

I'm not sure how it is when you apply for CivE jobs, but when I apply for my EE jobs, they always ask you to list the university you've been to, but also throw in the ABET accreditation in a subtle way... for example, they'll say "ABET accredited University Attended" or something similar. Also what you find many employers do is only list the ABET accredited school and have an "Other" section there for non-ABET accredited schools.

Their Engineering program is under the name " Florida a&m university/Florida state university".

both university's share the school i guess.please check again and tell me if it's ok :(

Go to the website I linked you to - it's not that hard.

That's not really a plan. That's just what you would like to do. Come up with some ideas on how you plan to achieve your goal and maybe we can comment on your plan.

you could think about UCF...and why didn't you apply to UF?
