Hey, I figured out something that may be helpful for me toward ACT reading. I just want to hear you guys' opinion on it. For the first passage since it's a narrative, I can read that one entirely. For the remaining passages, I can read each question one by one and skim for the answers and not read each answer choice before I find the answer. What do you think?*Or should I skim the first one too?

Contrary to what Princeton Review says, most people have found it counterintuitive to read the question first and skim for answers.

It’s a test of basic comprehension. Just read all the passages. You’ll find yourself blazing through the questions if you understand the passages well.

Contrary to what you guys just said, I have performed much better by skimming the passages. I have dearly suffered by reading the entire thing and having no clue what I’m looking for. 24 (reading the entire thing) 28 (skimmage)

I don’t know if you have read Barrons 36, but it tells you exactly what to look for in a passage when reading.
