My Plan for the next three years-Do I even have a chance?

Hello, all, new to the forums :)

Anyway, to the point:

I am an Asian male and I'm aspiring to attend an Ivy League or something similar (MIT, etc.) As of currently, I am a Freshman in High School, with primarily B's in school, due to the fact I caught the flu multiple times this year, causing me to miss many days of school and consequently, fall behind on some work. However, what I plan to do for the next three years is as follows-

Summer 2010:
-Attend Computer Science I at the local community college
-Volunteer at a local hospital
-Volunteer at a local nature preserve
-Study more for the SAT's (Last time I took a practice test, I got an 1800, not bad for a freshman)

Sophomore year:
-Classes I'm taking
-AP Euro
-Honors Trig
-Honors English 10
-Honors Spanish
-Honors Chemistry
-Maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout the year

-Electives:
-Computer Science
-Graphics Design

-Clubs
-Speech and Debate team
-Model Congress
-Investment club
-President of at least 3 other clubs

-Sports
-Cross Country in fall (Hopefully Captain by sophomore year)
-Track and Field

-Leadership
-Run for class president
-This is for t3h lulz, but Captain of a Halo: Reach team, my team plans on getting fairly big (Semi Pro at least)
-Extracurriculars
-Independent Science Research
-Guitar
-Teaching martial arts
-More?
-Columbia University Science Honors Program

Junior Year:
-Classes I'm taking
-All the AP/Honors classes
-Maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout the year

-Electives:
-Unknown

-Clubs
-Speech and Debate team
-Model Congress
-Investment club
-President of at least 3 other clubs

-Sports
-Cross Country in fall
-Track and Field in the Spring

-Leadership
-Run for class president
-Captain of Halo Team
-Captain of Cross Country team
-President of multiple clubs

-Continue to volunteer at Hospital, nature reserve

-Take at least 3 SAT's during the year (2000 and up)

-Extracurriculars
-Maybe start teaching guitar as well?

Senior Year

-Apply to colleges
-Take all AP/Honors classes
-Continue leadership positions
-Continue sports
-Stay in clubs
-Apply to colleges
-Hope for the best!

What else do you suggest I continue doing so I can get noticed by colleges such as Princeton (Ideal choice) and MIT (Second choice)? Keep in mind, Junior and Senior year are very rough, basic outlines. Anyways, please help me buff my agenda for the next 3 years so I can maximize my chances of getting into an Ivy. There is more to add, but until next time, see ya.

life is so unexcepted. plan on for the next semester

You have got to be kidding me. Do you really think being a captain of your little video game clan counts as an EC and/or leadership? While you’re at it, go ahead and make sure to include your kill/death ratio for COD in your applications; I’m sure that the admissions counselors who read your applications would really take it into consideration. Just remember that Ivies and other Tier 1 schools are looking for kids with a K/D of 1.8 and above (as you know, they are the most selective schools and thus only accept the most qualified candidates).

Dude… it a joke…

My projected ECs are two sports, 3 instruments, president of 3 clubs…

And just for the record my kill death ratio is 3.7, lol

Bumpity Bump Bump

Hey! I “planned out” my 4 years before I even started 9th grade… and boy it changed so much! I switched between “focusing” my electives on creative writing, journalism, animation, dance, voice, music, and academics so many times within the past month alone it’s crazy! (I’m a freshman too!)

My Sophomore Schedule (no AP’s offered)
H English II
H World History
H Chemistry
H Algebra II
World Religions (1 trimester)
Acting (2 trimesters)
Filmmaking (1 year)
Tennis (1 year, off campus)

EC & CS
Writing (bunch of awards hopefully)
Japanese (pass JLPT test and other Japanese level test)
Acting (find an agency, commercials, etc.)
CS - more than 250 hours
Drama (school)
and maybe start an acting club (focuses on audition techniques and monologues, crying on cue, etc.)

You seem to be on a good path… just remember to be open to change :)
