hi
I am 13 yrs old.
i am an international student from Korea who currently lives in Vancouver, Canada. I lived in New Zealand for a year and in Canada for 2 yrs.
Academic grades are usually A's, but for my electives, i get B's. I don't know why.
SSAT: 92% (only one)
Sports:
Tennis for 2 years in a club.
Basketball for a year in my school team (juvenille team)

Extracurricular activities
School Band. (Concert and Jazz) I play clarinet and tenor saxophone.
Clarinet: RCM 8 and I won some contests.
I am in West Van Youth Band (symphonic level) Its level is high as an IB course.
I get honor rolls every term. Also, i got a service award last year.
My weakness is English..
As an international student, writing is especially hard...
I am getting 100% in my math class.
A member of student council for 2 years in a row.

Last of all, I am plannig on applying to Deerfield, Concord, Hotchkiss, St.Paul's, and Loomis. I am leaving for interview on 11th.(my birthday and veteran's day)

You did very well on your ssat. While you might be disappointed in your ability to write like a native speaker, you certainly have mastered enough English to do extremely well on the verbal ssat.

Good luck in your interviews and have a Happy Birthday!

Your English here is better than many native speaking students who post messages here. Way better.

The fact that it doesn’t come easy to you is not a mark against you. In fact, I would consider it to be a strength. Many applicants come to the table as very bright students for whom everything (academically) has always come easy to them. There’s no benchmark to assess how they will respond to challenges and difficulties that they will surely encounter later on. In your case, you have faced the challenge and, just by applying to these schools, you’ve proven that you’re not afraid of challenges.
