Yeah, the more you fill in the better they score your essay…you should right bigger. I mean, they take 30 seconds to grade each one so making it longer will bump you up a point or 2

So what are you guys up to? I’ve just been cramming vocab and I did a few practice CR sections yesterday that didn’t go too well. I’m going to work on some math tonight and keep working on vocab. I’ll probably take a practice test this weekend.

I’m getting inundated by schoolwork. I’m trying to fit the SAT in my schedule by canceling all ECs from here to January 28, but even that doesn’t help much, as I have several finals to study for :.

I was planning to do play a sport for my school, but that has gone down the pipe because I simply have no time to condition 5 days a week and still have a realistic shot at a 2400 :/.

Hey IceQube,

you can do it! You might now be able to play a sport, but it’d be good to condition yourself a bit everyday. The way your mind focuses due to athletics is important for your well-being. Nonetheless, don’t deprive yourself too much! There’s more than just hard work that gets your the 2400. It’s purely dedicated work when you do study!

^Thanks for the support :). I know you can do it too :). Anyway, I’ve been trying to take a jog every night, and I did over winter break, and I will try to continue to do so. I’ve heard that sports have a ** salutary** effect on one’s performance in school. Perhaps sports simply get the blood circulating to the brain.

^ I don’t know about that… I did cross country my freshman year and was exhausted after every practice. I found myself falling asleep very early (8 or 9 PM), which hindered my ability to complete my homework. Maybe a less intensive sport, like tennis, would have less of a negative effect, though. (I actually did tennis, and aside from losing 2 potential working hours a day, I didn’t feel that much more tired after school.)

I found about 15 qas/psat’s from the past 5 years. In addition to the blue book and online course tests I nabbed, I have 35 total tests. Its like I found treasure lol!

^So jealous! Where did you find this trove of tests?

I would also like to know where to find QAS and PSAT. 15? That’s crazy!

What advice do y’all have from experience to get past the 680-720 math hump?

Lol if you guys want them I will be happy to share it with you.

Could you please send them to desire9870***********?!
Thanks alot!

@ yahoo
.

can you send me it as well? My email is juppal13@gmail(dot)com. Thanks man, appreciate it!

PM’d you my email. Thank you ^-^

Thank you sooo much (: You kinda made my day (you know you’re from CC when…)

Took the first two CR sections of May 2011 QAS and so far it’s pretty easy. -2 so far, but I feel that I won’t be so lucky in section 8. ^__^

Anyway, hope everyone is progressing! :D

Hey any tips on reading passages. I just took three sections and I got a freaking 590! Yeah, I’m mad.

Grammar would be helpful too ^_^

Holy crap eagles, you are extremely nice.

Haha no problem guys. Im going for a 2300 in march and I know others are as well so I thought of sharing.

To tell you the truth I havent taken any of those yet except for one psat-17. I got 2 wrong on the first reading section so far and perfect on math. I use the psat for practice by doing a section everyday timed and reviewing. I save the sat’s for weekends after extensive study to simulate test conditions. Doing by sections really makes your skills honed.

Anyways I have even more tests and ill share them when the time is right.
