I am worried about my PSAT score tremendously. My high reach school is Stanford and I want To go so bad. I really think I would be a good fit there because I am a great athlete and I am creative innovative and a natural entrepreneur. Anyways sad news… I got a 140 on my PSAT :-(. I know I can work really hard and that score was from the beginning of sophomore year and I am still a sophomore. Do you think I could realistically get to a 2100 on my SAT ? Also, I have above a 4.0.
Mehh PSAT sophomore year isn’t that important anyway. YES you can definitely get a 2100 even if you scored 140 on the PSAT. I got a 160ish in my sophomore year and then a 2270 my junior year on the actual SAT.
A lot of it’s getting used to the test. Given that you have a 4.0, you should be able to score reasonably well with a bit of prep. The PSAT isn’t really that important (unless you’re going for NMS), but gives you an indicator what you should prepare for on the SAT.
Yeah, it’s possible but everything will depend on how hard you will work. Get familiar with the test and practice a lot. Also you still have plenty of time. I think you are going to take the new SAT.
Study as hard as you can and practice and you can achieve a 2100
