My questions about McGill please help!

Alright so, since I have a lot of questions about McGill and I'm sure there are other people out there who would love to have this information also, I decided to create my own post! Bear with me now I know some of this stuff will sound stupid, but I'd really appreciate all your feedback.

1) What is the average for getting into mcgill? What should I be aiming for to have a very good chance at getting in?

2) How do most people pay for university? Do you take out student loans get money from your parents or work? This is a really big issue for me since I have no idea how I'm going to make enough money to pay for all my monthly expenses.

3) I know first year students are guaranteed dorms in residence, but almost all students second year and up go out and rent an apartment. So, since a lot of partying takes place in dorms, what do all the other students do? If you're in second year and living in an apartment, where are you going to go, other than bars in the city, to have fun?

4) And... what's the best dorm? I know everyone has different tastes, so heres what I'm looking for: I don't care whether it's single room or double rooms, as long as making friends is easy. I don't want to be stuck in a place where people are stuck-up or don't want anything to do with you, I like places where people are nice and welcome you with open arms. I don't care what the distance from the campus is. I also want a place that loves to party and have fun, because university should also be fun. I was thinking either molson or douglas, but I'm not sure.

If you want to actually meet a lot of people, then stay away from the hotels and MORE houses. Upper Rez is your best bet. I suggest Gardner over Molson any day.

Alright thanks dude, but why Gardner over Molson? And also, is Douglas any good, or is it just a bunch of snobs?
