<p>I'm living on west campus next semester and the roommate I was assigned said he might be studying abroad next semester. Does anyone know what the housing policy might say about this situation? Will I get a double to myself for the first semester, or will it work out differently?</p>
<p>there’s a possibility of that…if he notifies housing then they will know of the vacancy and would assign a person wishing to move from their room or a transfer (but that is more unlikely than the other situation)</p>
