My sat complaint

holy hell!!! i scored 30 points lower on math in Jan of my senior year than i did as a sophomore??? what the $&!*?

I gained nothing anywhere, lost 60 points in math, 10 in CR. IDK what happened. I’m pretty damn sure i’m smarter now than I was last year, what with being in school, and all. So yeah, I’m ****ed.

-sorry

Man, my SATs fluctuated too...after I studied alot.

Goes to show you that SATs are dumb...it all depends on the questions they ask, so it's just a test of luck, like the lottery. I HATE the SATs

I second that.

Aaaaaaaaahahahhahahhaahaha

Penn looks at Jan scores right?

thank you! i KNOW i'm smarter now, which means i got a harder test, which means that its not really very fair to compare two people who couldve gotten such vastly different difficulty tests

plus 4 colleges i sent scores to haven't recieved them! damn!

(i'm certain they scored it wrong, i had 15 minutes on every section to go back and make sure i had EVERY question right)

maybe you misbubbled?

no bubbles. online. i can see their score reports. it says "sent" to U of Utah, Tulane, USF, and Cornell, and yet none of these schools can locate my scores

i mean on your actual test?

It doesn't matter how difficult your test was. Your score is always determined relative to how everyone else did on the same test.

nonsense. Its always the same scoring system. Besides, I was around some friggin idiots (j/k). But seriously folks, no its just on that curve

and what do you mean B_B? i didnt fill out any school bubbles

oh 26e. the sat doesnt gauge how smart you are, silly. it measures absolutely nothing... and for anyone in the 2300-2400 range, it measures how much of a life you dont have.

AJ- I resent that but only because I have no life

oh i was just joshing. simply a jealousy thing.
i flaunt my 800s like theyre red hot nothin.

yo. i called yesterday and he said they weren't taking jan scores, even if they're rushed. what do i do now. cry?

they state that they will look at the January SAT scores as long as it isn't your first time taking the test in January... is it your first time?

yea, they stated that. They can't go back on it! Plus, my school just sned mid year today since our semester ended late, so my scores should get there the same time.

Trust me, if you give them info, they'll look at it no matter what they say. Plus, they really haven't started with decisions yet...I believe they are still organizing stuff

I went from a 1960 to a 2090 to a 1950 to a 2200

3rd time was the worst because of horrible testing conditions.

Funny, I thought the Jan. test was easy. I went from a 2200 to a 2310. I just hope Penn gets these scores on time!
