<p>Hello everybody.I have a very enormous problem in writing an essay. I only got 8 on my essay but i absolutely need a higher score to enter the college.I'd be very grateful for anybody who hep me to improve my essay.</p>
<p>You may have more luck posting this in SAT prep. Generally, I think the graders like length, 3 examples, good vocabulary, and good transitions. I got a 12 and I'll PM you my essay if you want to see how it's different from yours.</p>
<p>Maybe try improving your grammar?</p>
<p>Grammar rules are easier to learn than how to write good essays, plus I got a 9 on the essay and still got an 800.</p>

<p>I think you're two for four. Length and good vocabulary are not what graders are looking for. They mean nothing. Writing a clear and concise essay in the shortest amount of words is the key. And that is the key for the real world as well.</p>
<p>In the SAT prep class that my friends take, the teacher suggest writing as much as you can. Obviously, there should be structure to the essay, but my friends have said that they learned to write as much as possible... because even if your essay is short and sounds brilliant, it may not support your thesis as much as it could... if you know what I mean.</p>
<p>They may say that they don't reward length, but the fact of the matter is that scores are higher when your essay is longer:</p>

(the conclusion should be 2 sentences max )</p>
