My SAT scores dropped as well :(. But my drop is due to me correctly grading my tests … I had been grading my tests wrong all summer. Ignorance was bliss :).

But yah, IceQube, you are a genius ;D . And it was an actually PSAT (I think it was 2005 form W or something?) and I got a 191. Then I took this and got a 170. And I’m still getting over the fact that my score dropped 21 points

^Thanks :D! You guys are also geniuses :)!

If I were running a “SAT marathon” or a “race to 2400,” then I’m still 10 miles away from the finish line. I just sprained my ankle and I’m currently lying in a ditch, wallowing in self-pity while other racers sprint past.

I’m sobbing over a 300 point score drop … not a 20 point score drop … so yeah, that’s serious lol :o.

at present I’m comfortable with all the sections on the SAT except for scientific reading passages what should I do ? please someone give me a useful answer thanks

Don’t worry about it. I’m a senior now, I took the PSAT for practice 10th grade and got a 208, but when I took a practice test to study for taking it junior year, I got a 190, 18 point drop. Then, I went to take the actual thing, and when I got my scores back it was a 220, 30 points higher than my practice test. So, I really wouldn’t stress about it. Just keep on praticing and doing the best you can.

However, I want to nail a 220 before I take the PSAT for real in 32 days. The cutoff for my state jumped 4 points from 2009 to 2010 :o! People are getting smarter!!!

I got a 159 PSAT as a sophomore, then a 212 as a junior without studying. I have NO idea how… probably because I mastered algebra II and learned more vocab in english…

lol. I’m in precalc and my english HOPEFULLYLLYLYLYLYLY will improve. Thanks for the encouragement of the possibility of increasing my PSAT score ^
