my SAT score-chanceme?

Hi! I'm a junior and I got a 2220 on the SAT. I'm wondering if this score is good enough for me to get accepted to UCLA.

It's my dream school and I would study for the SATs all over again and take it in December if I need to do better! Please tell me if this score is enough or if you think I should try and shoot for a 2300+. Thanks!

You’re fine.

yeah? thank you!

I got accepted to UCLA with a reported score of 1880. If you’re wondering, your score is definitely above average for UCLA’s accepted applicants.

wow that’s a relief. thank you so much!!

Aldfig did you have like amazing ec’s?

I would say average. My GPA was pretty good though (4.5 weighted). However, the OP’s SAT score is in no way a limiting factor for admissions.

you’re fine! I’m sure you’ll get in, especially if you have great activities along with that SAT score.

SAT wise you’re above average for UCLA. You just need good GPA and essays now, good luck:)

I don’t have particularly outstanding extracurriculars. I only have swim (3rd year this year) and much volunteer work.
I have not taken very many AP classes: 1 honors sophomore year and 1 AP and 3 honors this year.
I’ve maintained a g.p.a. of 4.0 or higher. but I’ve yet to take SAT IIs.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the responses <3
