i got a 1350 on the SAT and it was my first time. im a junior right now and just signed up for the may test, and ill probably take it again after some summer studying. do you think its possible to get a 1600 or maybe even a 1700 after i practice for it? I want to go to NC State so im gonna have to bring it up. my GPA is 4.29

Yes, you can raise it significantly. Most students do better on subsequent sessions. If you do a lot of preparation beforehand, you can raise your SAT score substantially.

Yes, I absolutely think it’s possible. There’s so many study guides on this site from students that have done well. Make use of those.

The third time I took my SAT i raised my score by 250 points from the original time i took it

It is definately possible to do so.

Do you have specific weak areas to fix?

For math, I used Dr. Warner’s 28 SAT Math Lessons and Dr. Jung’s 50 SAT Math Perfect Tips.
I am naturally great at grammar (it was my highest section), so I didn’t really use anything for that. The Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar is GREAT though.
I didn’t really use anything for the CR. The answer naturally pops out at you after taking multiple practice tests. Just remember that the answer choice is the most general as well as the most defendable. Also, it will neither use extreme terms nor directly quote the passage.
