Sorry it's kinda long, but I'd appriciate an opinion
Well i got
Math: 790
Reading: 710
Writing:770
I took the subject test in Math level 1: 790 and World history:800

The thing is: My mom is from germany and my dad from the states. I went to high school somewhere close to Rapid city until grade 9, when my parents got divorced i moved to germany with my mom and went trough grade 10,11,12 and 13 over there.
I'm gonna graduate there next year and my probably my NC (GPA) is gonna be 2,1 which should be like a 3,3 in the states.

I spend a semester abroad in canada in grade 11, I never got a final transcript, cuz I left before exams, however I took
Chemistry 122
English 112
Math(statistics and geometry) 112
French Immersion language arts 11
History 112
and passed all of it

Extra Curricular:
Tutoring (10,11,12)
German red cross help line (11,12,13)
Dance Committee(11)
Social Committee (11)
Well I did do rowing for about 7 years until grade 11 but couldnt go on with it Canada. So i played field hockey and was in the swim team.
I had to get surgery on my knee, didnt do any sport during 11,2 and whole grade 12. I started soccer this year but only non competetive

And of course i got some jobs and internships but nothing spectecular.
I think I'll have to apply as an international since I had to give up permanent resident status, to get german citizenship

I'd love to go to Rice, Northwestern, Claremont Mckenna or Notre Dame but you think I'd stand a chance?

With international GPAs it really helps to post your rank (or an estimate of it). It also helps to give us a sense of the rigor of your courseload and whether people at your school tend to get accepted to top US schools or not. Generally a 3.3 GPA is quite low for the schools you have listed, but as an international applicant you are not necessarily competing against the US applicants for admission. In any event, strong test scores do not make up for a weak transcript. However, we can’t tell you whether you have a weak transcript without more info.

Well it’s a very diffrent system, it’s either sink or swim. They don’t have guidiance cousellers or class ranks and they don’t care what students do after they graduate, so I don’t know if students from my school get accepted in us school or even german schools. If students want to go abroad they traditionally go to France, the UK or Holland, only a small percentage goes to the states, in my grade and the one before I’m the only one.I would estimate my rank, my school is huge 5000 students in the last 3 grades. I’d say I’m under the top 30%

They rank on a 1 - 4.5 scale (with one being best and 4.6 meaning u gotta do it all over again) and for your GPA they only count your last 2 years. This is why my grades in 10 and 11 are somewhat bad, i was lazy and didnt know wanted to go abroad and it didnt count for me. In 10.1 I got a 2.9 in 10.2 3.0 in 11.1 i was in Canada in 11.2 i got a 3.1 in 12.1 a 2.2 , in 12.2 a 2.0 in 13.1 a 1.9 and i’ll have to write exams which are 50% of your grades of the last two years but that’s in may, so it doesnt matter. I got 98% in grade 9 but i think I’m not supposed to send those.

You got 11 subjects every semester so I thought it would be a lil much to list it all. I’m not quite sure what gpa it was if i was in the states, but the one i got here is pretty weak, I never failed any classes but until grade 12 i didnt do great either
