The schedule for my junior year is
1st semester
Advanced Functions and Modeling
Spanish 1
Honors Biology
Honors English 3
2nd Semester
Spanish 2
Honors U.S. History
Chemistry(hopefully AP Chem.)
Computer Applications 2

Courses vary between schools, but if this is an average school, then probably not. You can talk to others who have taken such classes and then evaluate for yourself the possible difficulty of taking such a schedule.

...looks pretty easy to me. Spanish 1 in junior year? If you've had prior language experience, it'll be a joke. In fact, it'll probably be a joke even if you haven't.

Spanish 1 is definitely easy. The difficulty of your honors classes mainly depends on the teacher, so if your school is reasonable, they should be fine.

I would of done Ap U.S. History but almost everybody who takes it only passes with a d or c so I decided it would do more harm than good. I probably will take Ap Chem. but I'm not recommended for it yet so yeah. Ok thought.Thnx My school is below average, we have one of the worst test scoring schools in the state (I believe we're number 4th worst). And we don't have to take any language classes till high school and in high school we have to take either Spanish 1 & 2 or French 1 & 2, it doesn't matter what year as long as we do though.

If you are taking the best classes available to you, then it's a good schedule. If you aren't then it isn't a good schedule in my eyes. Skipping out on AP American History and AP Chem isn't the best idea.

It looks like you're taking Spanish I and II, which are simple classes, but you probably have no choice in the matter. Leaving your foreign languages until your junior year was a bad idea, but there's nothing you can do about it now so don't worry about it and move on.

Why are you taking computer apps 2? That sounds like a boring class. If you're interested in computers or need more computer credit, take a programming or web design class if one is available. Otherwise, why are you taking it? Most computer apps classes are useless. Take a class that will help with your intended major instead.

If you don't plan on applying to top tier schools, you should be fine. How good a schedule is all depends on what schools you plan on applying to. If you enlightened us about that, helping you would be much easier.

I'm not skipping out on Ap Chem., I don't know if I can take that yet..And we don't have choices on our language classes. That's it, you can go higher than 1 & 2 but it's not required by the state, so why would I. You say take a programming class or web design class, we don't have those...Computer aps 2 will be easy for me anyway..And I'm planning on applying to N.C. State, or maybe Maryland..And taking Ap U.S. History is a bad idea if I know I will do horrible in it, like I said It will do more harm than good...

Your schedule is fine for applying to a state school, but I think you are really limiting yourself. Don't take classes because they are easy or fun, take them for the challenge.

Just because the state only requires 2 years of language doesn't mean that's all you should take. For a state university 2 years is fine, but selective colleges recommend 3 years.
