Back during the application cycle, my high school sent in all the application materials (transcripts, Mid Year report and recommendations) using the letterhead and stamps it had (Common App online). But my school has recently changed the letterheads and stamps into a completely new and better one.

Does this mean I have to send the final year report (which is also supposed to be sent through mail) with the new letterhead and stamps? I thought to tell my counselor to resend the previously sent transcript (including recommendations) with the new letterhead so that the college doesn't think that I'm doing a forgery. Do you think it will work?

I think you are being overly worrisome. I didn’t even know what my high school’s letterheads looked like.

She didn’t know that too…until my friends counselor told it to her that the letterhead is being changed…the counselor was pretty unsure about it too because he is a novice in this field.

EDIT: I’ve posed this question on behalf of my friend at another neighboring school in the city. She applied to 5 Ivies (including being rejected from Stanford SCEA). She doesn’t own a CC account and is reluctant to make one. I asked her to write her inquiry down and I posted it without changing it

If the college has a question about the documents, they will pick up the phone and call the GC.
As long as both sets of documents were authentic, I don’t see why there is a concern.
