My school closed down - documentation?

My school closed down so I can’t provide a humanities teacher reference for MIT, they said they were gonna need to see documentation. What exactly are they gonna need?

Another school is using my old school building and my old school transferred to a different location that isn’t convenient for me, if it matters. My humanities teacher doesn’t teach there anymore and I have no form of contact with her.

Could you find an article or information from the school district explaining the situation? Or maybe a counselor from the new school could write a letter?

The counselor at your new school can write a letter explaining the situation. S/he can also inquire about getting in touch with any of your former teachers
