<p>What is the required minimum number of units per semester?</p>
<p>C programming for an EE freshman is not critical. You probably won’t use it until your 3rd year/4rd year (needed for EEC 417). And you may forget what you learn by the 3rd year if you don’t continue to use in the 2nd year.</p>
<p>You can take Chem in a different semester if it’s allowed. This is one of the killer classes for freshmen, especially if you sit in the same class with the premed guys. This class is not important for EE major.</p>
