Can my counselor just write this information in the Secondary school report? My school does not give any information on this topic until graduation, so my counselor said she felt more comfortable, if she could just write that the school does not give out quartiles, quintiles etc. for privacy reasons.
If necessary best she could do is giving the approximate quartile.

Also does she need to attach a secondary school profile? If so, what goes in there?

Hello!
Don’t worry- My school doesn’t give ranks either becaue it’s against French law. It is really unnecessary to approximate your rank or whatnot. However, she has to attach your transcript, meaning all your grades from 9th grade to present.
Good luck with the application process!

Sorry to bump this thread up, but I don’t want to open a new thread.
What belongs in a high school profile? Classes offered? Mandatory core classes? What else?

“high school profile” as in a secondary school report? for the secondary school report, you don’t need to list classes offered/ mandatory classes. your counselor would just compare your rigor of classes with the average student at your school, i.e. put you as taking “most demanding” to “below average” in course selection.

Okay thanks. I dunno, I think I’ve read some things on this board about a High School Profile to be submitted along with the Secondary School Report. Maybe I misunderstood something.

^ What form does this letter have to be in?
My school doesn’t really have anything like this, only in German. Would it be okay to attach a form to the transcripts that explain the course requirements of my school/state?
