My school doesnt give out A-.

<p>My school only gives out A or A+s and doesn't include actual percentages on the transcript. How to colleges calculate GPA? </p>

<p>Typically if you have an A- average overall, its around a 3.7</p>

A= 4.0
B+=3.50</p>

<p>At least, that’s how it works at some public schools, who use a 4.33 scale to account for the A+. Some other schools just use the standard 4.0 scale, in which case…</p>

<p>A= 4.0
A-=3.50
B+=3.25</p>

<p>Etc.</p>
