my school doesnt offer ap... help?

I live in toronto (gr.11), and my school doesn't offer AP/IB/honors... just university (ontario) level courses.
I really want to apply to american universities and self-study some APs.
I want to major in sciences (biochemistry) but I don't have enough time to study ap bio/chem/physics...
I'm studying calc already, but I am not sure what else to study.

My friends tell me to study psych and stats (since I already took gr.12 data management course at school).. but the thing is.. they have nothing to do with what I want to do.
I can study bio/chem/physics for next year, but wouldn't that be too late for universities to see?

I don't know what to do. What should I study?
Any suggestions?

well, i suggest you contact the AP services for AP calc (to sign up for it) but im not sure how it works in other countries (either way, they can help you)
don’t pack yourself with tons of APs now, because you only have what, 3? months 'till the test, but just take the ones you need for your major, (bio and chem?)
and i believe that AP lvl course is the same as a university course, so if you take that then you should be ok. (but just in case, look around the forum for recommended prep books and get yourself some to make sure you dont miss out on important topics)
however, if you decide to take it next year, then yeah, the universities you apply for wont see your grade, but, i hear that not all top-rated colleges accept/care about your APs, its mostly about the SATs
either way, if you’re sure in your knowledge of calc, bio, and/or chem, you should start reviewing now, and if you feel like you did badly on the exam, you can always cancel that score, so the colleges wont see it…(the only downside, theres no refund =\ so once you pay like 90 bucks for the test, you cant get them back lol)
