My school doesn't rank or do GPA's...QUESTIONS!

I am currently attending a fairly well known international school in China. My school is by no means American, and takes pride in its international outlook. Most of the students, head off to Europe/UK/Australia. Though a lot more students are taking an interest in the United States. Having no GPA (I do have an IB score) or class rank does not really affect a students application to a US school does it? I know that Standardized tests and the essays/ recs are significantly more important, but alot of CCers talk about their GPA out of 4.0 and class ranks- so I'm getting a little nervous...

thoughts?

Not at all. colleges compare you in context of your school and what it has available. there are schools in the us which don’t have ranking or gpa and it is in no way a detriment. colleges want to see you doing the best you possibly can given what is offered at your own school

No joke, I just posted something that sounds word for word like what you just said, and I only just saw this now…so weird.

thanks!
thats a relief :)
