My school has almost no AP classes

I see kids here saying they are taking 5 AP classes in one year. My school has a total of 3.

I'm taking AP US junior year, the first AP I can take, and then AP Bio and English senior year. My school advertises AP Calc AB, and I campaigned for it, but they said there weren't enough kids registered so they won't even have it.

thats fine, you’re evaluated based off of your owned school, so it doesn’t matter.
i guess you could self study though…

I’ve taken 3 college now classes so far, with 2 more next semester, and more after that to make up for it. Does that cancel it out?

They’ll see that you’ve taken everything your high school has to offer. Don’t worry about it.

My school is about the same, offers 6, and one of my thoughts is to dual enroll at the local college and to take classes on GAVS, my state virtual school.

If you tell in the application that you ‘pushed yourself by taking all the possible APs offered’, they’ll get the idea. You can also see if your state has a ‘Running Start’ system, which will allow you to take college level courses at a community college. It could be just a 101 class- like Intro to Political Science or Sociology, but its equivalent to an AP nevertheless.
