Screw the Archdiocese of Baltimore. We all knew you never cared about us. We sit on one of the most valuable pieces of land in Baltimore. We know you're going to sell the land to St. Agnes Hospital. You promised us all year that it would only be elementary and middle schools closing. We were 5 students above the enrollment you told us we needed to have in order to stay open. You blatantly LIED to us. Archbishop O'Brien, I never liked you. And now I REALLY don't like you. We are one of the most historic schools in Baltimore and you're just shutting us down? You're in for a mean wake-up call Archdiocese. I just hope you're ready for it.

Tomorrow is going to be insane. There's gonna be massive protesting at my school. Luckily, I'm a Senior. I am the last graduating class. I feel so bad for the Juniors who have to transfer to another school for their last year.

I never was a fan of the Catholic Church. But you guys just proved to me today that all you care about is money. This school served a real purpose. Oh, and isn't it strange that many of the schools that are closing have large minority populations? I thought the Catholic Church was against racism. I am severely disappointed and saddened by today's decision. Here's a big F U to the Archdiocese of Baltimore, The Blue Ribbon Committee, and most importantly, Archbishop Edwin O'Brien. You guys suck!

I’m sorry :(. Best of luck with the protest. Maybe if people are aware, they’ll pressure the Church to stay open. Doubtful though, Catholic schools care about money unfortunately :(

Ah, MattNC, you know Babe Ruth will not be happy. I don’t see how this school isn’t on the National Register of Historic Places. The same buildings are still there and we still play baseball on the same field that Ruth did. I should look into this.

my school is suppose to close, its been academically unacceptable for like 4-5 years, but nothing has happened yet, either way i Passed all my TAKS so im graduating

I just realized something. This also is probably the final nail in the coffin for the Baltimore Catholic League. They were already talking about getting rid of it. Last year, Towson Catholic closed. Towson Catholic produced such basketball stars as Carmelo Anthony and Malcolm Delaney. They were one of the 8 members of the BCL. That left 7, an odd number, once they closed which really screwed up the tournament this year. Now with us closing, that leaves 6 teams. That’s gonna be a pretty crappy tournament.

God, this closing really screws everything up. The BCL is one of the most prestigious high school bball tournaments in America. My school had won the most BCL championships, with a total of 8.

My school’s probably getting discredited this year. Luckily, it won’t affect my class (2011), but I still feel your pain since the Catholic church is full of hypocrits.

Yeah, I get to graduate. But it still sucks."

I was only half-joking. Walking around with posters isn’t going to get anything done for you.

By the way, I’m not suggesting you assassinate anyone, I’m suggesting you spend your time doing something more productive (or atleast something more fun).
