my counselors said by the 2nd week of february. except now theres a report card error that the city board of edu. has to fix... and who knows how long thatll take. will it be too late? or affect my chances into getting into my colleges? =(

i doubt it... some colleges have requirements for the latest it can be sent, so u should check that, but if u call the college and tell them about it, im sure they'll understand..

plus, u aren't held nearly as responsible for documents u dont send directly, like recs and school reports. so don't worry

The adcoms are wading thru the essays now. They may identify the auto-denies and the auto-accepts, but the committee meetings won't be for a while. They won't need the midyear report until the meetings because they mainly use it to decide borderline cases.

thank you, that was all very helpful.

I have a question about that-Do the schools send mid-year reports themselves? Or is the student required to?

It's just that I haven't heard anyone who's applied anywhere talk about it in my school, so I was curious.

if the college requires it, then there will be a midyear report form that you need to give to your counselor to fill out. some colleges dont require it.
